How do you sell items to an NPC?
hey guys im trying the trial of guild wars before christmas, because i may be buying the trilogy. i needed something to play other than world of warcraft(15$ a month!!!!) so i need some help. How do you sell items to an NPC? TIA.

I don't think you can on a trail account, you can't trade with people or PM them either. Usually you just go to a merchant and sell. Trial accounts are limited to stop gold sellers.

You can only sell items to some NPCs. Every outpost will have an NPC with the note "merchant" next to his name.
Talk to him, and in the menu that opens, you'll see buttons that switch from buying to selling. Default is buying from NPC, so switch, and then select the item you want to sell by double clicking it. Some items can't be sold, and will have a price of 0 gp. Note that identifying an item will increase the price it can be sold for.
